Great Florida Birding Trail

Wood Thrush

The Great Florida Birding Trail has approximately 2,000 miles of trails from the Florida panhandle to the Keys. Trails are located on public lands where you may enjoy the sights and sounds of nature along the self-guided routes.

Don't know your way around to the sites? There are four guide books that provide detailed directions, maps, and habitat type of the lands within the birding trail system. Download the West Florida guide book (PDF) (2.95MB), which covers much of the north-central area of the state or visit the Great Florida Birding Trail website to learn more about this exciting and beautiful resource.
