The District uses a competitive bidding and selection process for the procurement of goods and services to assure fairness and equity to all providers and to make the best use of taxpayers dollars.
Opportunities to bid are listed on this web site. Vendors may subscribe to receive email notifications from District on new bid postings by clicking on "New Bid Notifications" button, enter your email address, selecting the service(s) you provide, then click Subscribe/Manage button. Solicitation packages may be obtained from the Suwannee River Water Management District by following the directions given in the individual advertisements.
Vendors also have the option to register with DemandStar to automatically receive District and other Suwannee County procurement announcements for free by choosing Suwannee County listings via fax or email. Although the District provides services for 15 Florida counties, all District solicitations are broadcast from Suwannee County. Vendors may also choose other subscription options with DemandStar and for a nominal fee receive procurement announcements from other governmental agencies by county, state or nation.
