The Administration Department is responsible for providing administrative support for the District in the areas of finance and accounting, contract coordination, technical library maintenance, inventory center, records, visual and audio services, telecommunications infrastructure, district-wide facilities and vehicle maintenance, and insurance and risk management and safety needs, including loss prevention and control
In addition, the department administers the employee benefits program, ensures that human resource policy and procedures are in compliance with federal and state laws, recruits and trains new and existing staff, and coordinates Governing Board activities. It is also responsible for database management, mapping and geographic information systems (GIS), and computer services.
